ACES IN SYRIA

Action for Community Empowerment in Syria ACES is a licensed and mission-driven Syrian civil society organization, committed to advancing the well-being and resilience of communities across North and East Syria. Founded in 2022 through a strategic collaboration with Columbia University in New York City, ACES began its journey by delivering community-based mental health and psychosocial support MHPSS awareness and capacity-building programs in areas devastated by war, displacement, and long-term trauma.
Guided by a deep understanding of local needs and global best practices, we have since broadened our reach to deliver integrated training and support services focused on MHPSS, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, survivor-centered response systems, and child protection. Our local actors are at the center of transformation, empowering them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to lead change within their communities.
With professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to human dignity, ACES continues to grow as a trusted partner in building safer, more inclusive, and psychologically resilient societies in Syria.
